These cloth shoes are crafted with authentic 100% East African cotton, a soft genuine leather interior bottom with a soft nubuck finish, and an exterior jute sole. The canvas uppers of these shoes are made with a breathable fabric, ensuring superior comfort. The durable vulcanized rubber soles provide added stability on the jute outsoles. Each pair features the brand's signature beaded leather tags, allowing men to wear these canvas shoes daily.

As a lightweight canvas shoe, the Afridrilles will fit snugly at first wear and gradually stretch and mold to the wearer's foot after 2-3 uses. The brand recommends sizing up by half a size, as the shoes have a narrow fit.

Ubuntu Life was founded on a friendship between Jeremiah Kuria and Zane Wilemon, pastors from Kenya and Texas. Meeting weekly over lunch in Maai Mahiu, a transit hub an hour outside Nairobi, they discussed faith, growth, and empowerment. Together, they created a center for children with disabilities, providing life-changing therapy and medical care for kids who suffer from physical challenges and social stigma.
